Yeah, they added that as a concession in the DE , I'm guessing since most folks felt pretty meh about the horse-racing in general and the Black Cup requires a near-perfect run to win (not to mention the prize is not worth the effort and the Circle of Serendipity can be duplicated in Act 1 in the DE).
